GECCO2's state of the art installation which includes a direct cooling option when ground temperatures are suitable has enabled the University to maximise the potential of their Ground Source Heat Pump installation. This potential has been realised through close working with Arup (Consultant Engineer), Mansell (Principal Contractor) and the Universities Control specialists (Schnieder). Through early involvement and joined up thinking the scheme has been a huge success for all involved.
